Lost the Daylight
I don't understand why people don't generally make each other gifts anymore either. It's two sided, something fun to do while you make the gift in addition to someone enjoying it. Of course that isn't as appreciated in general by kids since not many people CAN make something that is an actual toy; however, the whole super expensive gift thing is true on gifts for everyone.
And yes, spending that much on a toy seems insane to me. Especially something that will break, have pieces that get lost, and generally loose interest fairly fast. I watched a kindergartener thrash his gifts in less than two hours today. Yes, Legos in the middle of a foot are something like a 18 on the pain scale.
All of those consignment stores are great for finding gifts! Up here it's like a big contest to get to the transfer pad(used stuff spot) at the dump. I stalk the swap bins at work, especially when the students move in and out. I have found some GREAT stuff.
The correct question is, "Why don't I need another gun?"
How strange to see a lagomorph of such bravery.
