GoPro Hero2 Updates

So i just got a Hero2 and i have heard bad things about the "cineform" updates. anyone know what the deal is and what the benefit would be from it? I heard they have made peoples Hero2's stop working

I cant find anything about problems any more

i know the problem when it first came out was an issue but the firmware
I believe is fixed, email go pro and see what they say

Hey Arson you ever take stills with the Hero2 - What settings you run usually for the Stills and all. I am just messing around with mine, just picked it up a few days ago.

I did a small time lapse a little while ago but didnt really play around with the stills
as it has a delay for the shutter so unless its stable you wont get great shots
