Anyone looking for a 35mm film rig?

Hey All,

I have my old film rig, still in very good shape for its age, however I'm never going to use it again. I have a Nikon N80, complete with a Tamron 28-80 and 70-300. I'm never going to use it again, as I have Medium format film gear that I would use if the need arose.

I'm looking to get rid of it an am thinking 200 bucks shipped, US. If you know a kid going into a photography program of any kind, this would be a great camera outfit for them. Add a nifty fifty, and they will be set!

Thanks!
Broch

I have an N70 but trying to decide if I want an N80. Had one years ago but the ex took it in the divorce and promptly sold it.

So torn, I kind of would love a film camera to dabble with

N80 and N75 are great, go-to cameras for Nikon DSLR users. Unlike the N90s and most other SLR's, the N80 uses just about the same controls as Nikon's DSLR's, so settings are easy.

I like the N75 because it's lighter and smaller, but the N80 has more features. The F100 is great too, but costs more...

Note...if you aren't a fan of the CR123 batteries the N80 uses, grab yourself one of the knock-of (or OEM!) MB-16 grips for it. This will let you use AA batteries and also give you a vertical shutter release button.
