Cool! I made a video a while back that shows how I built and designed my ZoomCam system that you can mount on just about any paintball gun. It goes into the issues of zooming with a first person gun cam, and how to overcome the problems and capture great footage even while focused on playing the game!

Watch ZoomCam, How to build your own! Trails of Doom Innovation, so Viewers can SEE the hits! | Trails Of Doom Episodes | Learning Videos | Blip

It was so long, I never uploaded it to youtube... It would take about 12 hours to upload with my internet speed...

My biggest tip would be to mount on the most rigid point possible. The best gear and the best settings can't overcome a camera mounted to the top of a soft ear.

Here's how I mounted my camera. The mount is a tripod mount. I ran a 1/4-20 bolt through the hard plastic clip with a rubber washer under the bolt to allow me to squish it and not have to worry about it backing out.

I've only filmed three games so far, but after watching the video from my Roam1, I have two tips:

1) Always make sure to align the lens. I forgot to check the orientation of the rotating lens, and ended up filming the entire day 90 degrees sideways.
2) Get closer than you think you need to. I felt like I was close to the guys I was filming, but with the huge fish eye viewing angle on the camera, everything looks further away than it really is.
