njcaa womens national championship trying out new lens

will see how my 70-200mm works at national women's D1 championship games also see if will let me go on field so i do not block view from stand.
any tips one what what my iso f/stop and time exposures should be set for.

Run it at f2.8, wide open. As for speed that is all going to be dependent on the lighting. You may want to up the iso some if you are having troubles getting quick enough shutters, over 1/100 at least.

found out need to be 2.8 was not sure since light was all wrong. for some reason where i site or stand lighting makes me change my time exposure. if shoot to my right its more dark then if shoot to left which is to bright. if shoot straight ahead i good. but bad part for this event can only shoot from seating area. so i do not want to stand all guard rail so people can not see action next year i can shoot from field as long i share some pictures. since this national finales i can not shoot from field. also do not have reach from where site to take pictures too since to far away for 200mm

had iso at 12800 might go hi 3 hi 7 or hi 1 tomorrow night. since using d5300 not good for low light also. also stay away from sport mode. since found out today is over and under compensating on pictures base on lighting. thanks for tips and help. also did not help having humid weather too.

thanks for the tip it worked out good. just now get pictures from both sd cards

thanks for the tip. i had to use aperture mode. since could not change time expourse fast enough to keep up with action will post pictures later and have pictures from semifinals since girls made to that part hope they make to finals
