Indeed, time to get my other watch out.

Unfortunately, I need to work for a little while tomorrow to "test" the patches applied to our application and database servers. Stupid congress.

I'm still upset that in my dorm room I have one of the SmartSet Alarm clocks....that isn't so smart. It'll be reading an hour earlier for the next month or so. No way to change it.

i spent 12 hours today dealing with this exact issue ... I hate vendors that mess up their documentation causing more work.... I especially liked the last minute additions to the workload ... I missed paintballing today due to this ..DOH

Well, so far so good.
One or two of our automated ftp/decryption processes bombed because the broker didnt update their ftp server and my scripts couldnt authenticate....other than that, all of our inhouse stuff looks pretty good!

Ahhhh...now for the desktop guys to start spending the ENTIRE day answering Outlook calendar questions!

Nah, I was just ranting in gerneral, nothing personal.

That's great about your clock not being able to be reset. technology is sooo great. I am glad my company now uses all preprinted invoices instead of a handheld pc. whoooo hooo for lack of pc's

Well, DST worked out okay for me....got out of work an hour earlier

Other than fighting with the on-board camera system's clock menu (they tried cramming too many options into the same 4 buttons, using combinations of buttons/clicks), and the in-car computer RMV access, it went smooth. Only problem we had was our "instant message" type program for chatting back and forth between cars and dispatch kept putting the wrong time stamp in. It got fixed the next morning. Oh well, I'm glad smart IT guys like you all exist...so I can do what i need to do properly.
