Do you like your internet connection at work? Do you like getting your email? Do you like it when your computer actually works when you come into work after a long relaxing weekend? Then thank you sys admin! These hard workers work over the weekend and overnight to keep you working and browsing on your PC's! If today is a holiday for you, then realize that these hard working individuals are working to make your work life better!

This posted by a consultant who has been at the same client since Saturday 9am and just got reemed by someone who forgot we were doing this work this weekend. 5 emails and a memo on their chair didn't help their memory at all. Well, 1 more server to replace and I might remember to power up their exchange server..... or not

Ahh.. we under appreciated folk..

I actully got told today to slow down on my production stuff (well, myself and the ther low rung guy) because we had too many mistakes going out.

Granted, it is just the 2 of us and the QC chick is gone.. and our work continues to pile up.

Then I have the comps to worry about.

I need a beer.

There are three groups of people I quickly learned to NOT tick off at work (in no particular order):

- Admin Assistants
- Security
- IT

Yeah, I feel everyone's pain. There are days when I just wish I could tie a few compys to the rig in the drag tank and get revenge that way... And does anyone else hate Google, Yahoo and whatever other toolbars that some of these lusers love throwing on their machines? GAH!

At one point someone had six or more including, Yahoo, Google, AIM, AOL, Skype, and Amazon.
