| Blaster of Muppets | Officially pissed at firefox Firefox automatically updated today when I got home and I lost all my bookmarks! Every single bookmark I've saved for the last 2 years is now history. Is there any way to get them back? *edit*I was so pissed I put this in the wrong forum. Mods please move to 'Plugged In' forum.

| 学生 | I used to love Foxfire and used it exclusivly even though I have had that problem twice and always had to reinstall flash and such. Some one posted a link to the opera Browser. I have never looked back all the features of Foxfire, nicer skins and a couple of other cool features. I highly recommend it. Sorry I can not offer you any help. I always just backed up my bookmarks on either mozilla or to disc.

| Blaster of Muppets | Strange, I just downloaded Firefox 2 and they all reappeared. Apparently this is some sick trick to promote people to download the new Firefox.

| Mod & Underwear Model | Just an FYI: Firefox stores your "bookmarks" in the following location: C:\Documents and Settings\<<your user name>>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<<profile folder>>\bookmarks.html Your Extensions / Add-Ons are stored in: C:\Documents and Settings\<<your user name>>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<<profile folder>>\extensions\*.* Both can be "backed up" or "restored" just by doing a drag/drop.(hint hint) Or copied from one machine to another. (<<profile folder>> is an automatically named folder, will be a combination of letters/numbers....one for each user who has a Firefox profile) I never once had any similar problem since I switched to FireFox. However, I did have the exact same problem a few times when using Opera, where my bookmark files somehow got corrupted. Couldn't save them, and had to restore off a backup.
