prior to the launching of player health, i have placed many hidden farms, chests and shelters throughout the castle as preparation. in fact, there is at the minimum, 1 hidden feature in each house and corner tower, and with the exceptions of pvt_aequita's, deadmeat99's, and i8pie2day's houses because they were not finished by their respective builders at the time, all of these hidden features have been in place at least 1 week prior to the launch of player health and monsters. i decided to integrate these hidden features in each house because it is the last place that person would search, not that i do not trust them, but that i do not trust who they may tell, because we obviously had griefers before.

it has been at least another additional week after the implementation of monsters and health, seeing as i have been more resilient and durable against monsters than expected, and that various players have offered shelters for everybody, there is no point to keep all of these hidden for myself and it would be selfish, and so here is a complete list of them all, i do not think most of these have been found out yet, even by the home owners.

all hidden features are activated through runecraft's secret passage. the physical requirement to a hidden chest: the chest itself needs to be shielded from view on all 6 sides, in addition to having an open space above it. with luck, the open space can be easily created as part of the runecraft door. this means ideally it is hidden right underneath the runecraft door with adjacent blocks on all 6 sides.

farms are more difficult. they require light, a bottom layer of soil, a middle layer for the wheat, and i have found the wheat requires an additional air block above it in order to grow, and thus requires a stack of 3 spaces with an adjacent light stone facing either the wheat block or air block. if you want the soil to be hydrated it would also require a block of water on the same level or 1 level above. all of these naturally have to be hidden.

to top it all, the floor passages do not activate through the passage blocks, so the activation blocks must be open on at least 1 side for clicking.

so without further ado, here is the complete list, starting with the 3 hideouts and then the hidden stashes clockwise from castle gate. RED CIRCLE indicates the activation block. you activate the hidden passage by right clicking it using either a tool or bare hands. runecraft doors can be activated by right clicking the door itself but as previously mentioned runecraft floor passages only open when right clicking the activation block.

hideouts are shelters that can fit the player, with a chest and room for a workshop.

hideout 1: Casa De Grimace
basement level 1, between these chests, approximately under the porn library's nice assets section. the top is shielded by the obsidian castle wall.

hideout 2: northeast tower
a simple hidden door. the hideout is actually an extension of the hallway to the tower, shaped to match to hide it.

hideout 3: Spleens MCB Castle Condo
DFSniper was proud to have found this, complete with a farm. little did he know... well he'll find out soon. anyway it is deep underground after a flight of stairs with the entrance immediately to the left outside the rear exit.

stashes and farms are hidden throughout the castle. these are listed by house signs posted.

L00pers Pad
when i saw looper renovating i was scared to death he would find out. i don't know, did you? the activation blocks used to be 3 blocks from the edges of the fire in your fireplace. i visited after the remodeling and found out the passages had to be redone to fit the farm.
stash #1, 2nd floor hidden by the clay floor, hell mud foyer downstairs and ceiling lights downstairs.

DFSniper's Mage's Tower
DFSniper was proud to have found my hideout, complete with a farm. little did he know his own house and tower had the most stuff hidden there
stash #1, 1st floor library corner hidden by tower and basement walls.

stash #2, hidden on the floor with the rune, by the double layer castle wall walkway obsidian and half step pavement.
http://img30.imageshack.us/img30/691/s11b.png

Spleen's anti-heinous lava proof bunker
it had my name on it so i couldn't resist placing one even though it wasn't a house. after renovation i had to rearrange the passage. it is hidden by obsidian on all sides, even the bottom, thanks to DFSniper's bunker underneath.
http://img405.imageshack.us/img405/4989/s12.png

the chests should all be set to public now. enjoy, everybody.
i made so many of these i forgot one.

DFSniper's Mage's Tower
stash #7, right next to the unhydrated farm (stash #2)

also new update seems to give you 3 seconds of invulnerability at login and no longer crashing when ridden vehicles are destroyed.

i'm checking to see if jounin's copy paste ruined any runecraft doors, so far so good.

i thought my lava house got griefed when i logged on and all the lava was obsidian...

you could always explore loopers 2 dungeons. it's probably enough to last a lifetime each.

gonna start up "geocaches"

edit: done. there is a listing in B2. if you want to help place them, go for it. please place a chest and put some goodies in it, add a sign to mark it numberwise, as well as when it was placed. do NOT put in a warp point near it, as that'll ruin the fun :P then go put up a sign with the number, date placed, and coordinates in the archive.

type /getpos to get your current coordinates.

I seem to be more interested in building, since the cords are quite long it is hard getting back to a certain point if I am not sure where I died when i went exploring.

On a side note, I am having trouble finding enough coal to cook everything I need and make torches in single player.

Deadmeat, go down the cave north of the castle By bucks Waterfall and follow it to the bottom. There's a massive strip mine down at bedrock that I've been gradually blasting out. There's monsters and things from time to time, but there's sone coal, iron, redstone, and a little diamond. Just blast a line and go to town, all I request is you light what you blast, and keep it neat.
