Simple MP3 editing software???????

Looking for a simple MP3 editor. Alot of my songs have long/short intros before the actual music starts, I wanna get rid of it. Any suggestions?

Mp3 splitter should be perfect for that.

I use Audacity extensively, but it's probably overkill if all you want to do is chop up an existing MP3.

my vote is also for audacity. a good program, and free. it will let you do lots with an mp3.

WavePad makes a good, free version of their software.

Audacity is nice, but doesnt work well with large MP3 files, and can not do a lossless recode.

I often used MP3DirectCut. Its super simple, but I use it for editing audio-books, and directors commentaries, so I can listen to them on my IPod.
