Actually, my Treo 650 took a dive to the asphalt the other day and they gave me the choice of a 700p (Palm OS) or 700w (WM5) as a replacement. I thought maybe about giving the 700w a try...I've set up plenty of WM smartphones and they were relatively easy, but I really don't like the idea of my phone having a registry. All I'd need is for it to BSOD in the middle of a call once and I'd hurl it in front of speeding train. PS: on another topic entirely, I just found that iTunes radio has "radioDead" - all Grateful Dead, all the time and available at 3 bandwidths! I'm now trying to see how long I can tolerate it... PSS: the iPhone, while very stylish and I'm sure very high-quality, is probably going to fail miserably. It's just arriving too late on the scene, at too high a price tag. |
