To maintain your weight you just have to consume the same as you exhaust while consuming adequate protein. Carb sources only matter for satiety or if you're a diabetic, micro nutrient wise you won't get anything out of sugar but as far as weightless goes the type of carb just gauges how long you will remain satisfied for. Weight loss is just basic thermodynamics there's no gimmick to it like the health industry tries to throw out there.
