Iphone 4.3 update out now

It's got some goodies for ipad and iphone 4 but the major change for 3gs is the faster safari engine powered by java script! woo!

this is gonna sound dumb, but how do I upgrade?

Download the latest version of iTunes. Connect your phone to your computer and iTunes will show your phone on the list. Click on your phone from the list and it'll show upgrade info.

For simpler instructions you can google "how to upgrade iPhone version"

The iOS4.3 home share feature is neat, but I can't seem to add videos to my itunes library.

I quite using Safari long ago on my iPhone 4, but may have to start again if Java is finally enabled.

Not java, javascript performance is very fast on the safari engine now. The AppleTv update also seemed to fix my terrible netflix issues that the previous update caused.

Pif, your videos generally need to be mp4 or mov.
