Weights 171.6(today) - average 173. Last year I topped 203pounds and no gym.
Body fat unknown
Height 5'9-10''
I take good foods and im on that low cals from april.
I have protein powder leftover I can use for now and I am not a vegetarian per say. I used to not eat much vegs before. I usually eat quick in the morning and depends for what I eat for supper.

I dont counts my cal intake but by looking at what I eat 1500 is about rights.

I have a friend who worked out all the time but barely ate anything and he had a very hard time building muscle. It doesnt help that he has almost no body fat. When I told him to eat more he gained muscle much faster.
How often do you work out and how intense is it?
It sounds like you will want to consume around 2500 cal/day depending on your workouts.

1h30min to 2hour is the time I wanna spend per session at the gym
How intense well that will depends as I am just starting and did a intense one for the first time(hard morning after that). I plan on 3 time a week in the week, weekend when I have it off.

My legs recover faster than my arms from what I can see :P

It not that I eat little I mostly eat thing who doesn't have alots of cals inside. I will add eggs for breakfast and maybe add milk/protein powder(while I have it, I don't plan on buying more as it 2010 leftover) at lunch.
What I am trying to see is does they are needed everyday or can some day I can keep low?

My job require me slicing meat and walking around a department all day except on break and dinner. Otherwise I don't do much outside of work.

ingest at least 1 gram of protein for every gram of body weight; so you should be taking at least 170g of protein a day if you want to add muscle.

Well that's why I stopped getting bigger...

I need to triple my protein intake. Sigh.

I might have to go for protein supplements. I can't physically put anymore food in my face.

^thats what i hear

What I did when I worked out was drink half a protein shake before I work out and then a full one right after. I found having something good in my stomach helped me stay a bit less fatigued towards the end of my workout.
