A turret upgrade will up the speed, but beyond that, nothing.

Drum and mrmag, you guys know that the binoculars dont do anything if you're moving right?

The turret upgrade on the '35 does not offer faster turn speed. You get 30 more health, 10mm more front turret armor, and maybe get to mount a better gun, but that's it. And yeah, 29*/s is damn slow for a light tank turret, but most German tanks have fairly slow turrets compared to the other guys.

Until later in WW2, German turrets were almost entirely hand cranked.

Same with the Russian models initially.

US tanks were mostly motorized from the door.

And yeah, I am not getting why MrMag is not "seeing" the benefit, but I notice the difference in spotting and also hits at long range.

Pusssy that I am, I like to do most of my killing from afar.

I love the m2 light with the 20mm auto cannon. I can take on an average driver in any tank that I normally face 1 v 1 and take em every time. You just get up close and to them a new *** hole from point blank. And shooting at full speed as you approach will hit with one and be enough to throw their aim. I normally get 3 to 6 kills a game with it.

Maybe my binoculars are out matched against their camo skills?

Well, figure it this way... assuming one cannot see farther then 500m under optimum circumstances, then once you have achieved that ability with enhancements, you should be at least on a par with any tier tank.

Now I do not pretend to know the logarithms of the game or anything, but a camo net will supposedly give you an enhancement of "10%" in the difficulty of detecting, whatever that means.

Then there is the big tank vs. small TD thing... no idea how they calculate that. But it is supposedly factored in somehow.

And do not forget crew training. Some crews also might have guys with secondary specialties in camo.

So, a relatively small TD with a camo net and a more skillful crew than you have might well be able to get the drop on you in your larger tank, etc.

The lousier my crew, the faster I drive.

Damn the better my driver the faster I drive. With the m2 and anything over an 82% driver and it feels like you get shot out of a cannon with that thing how fast it pulls from a dig.
