Anyone have suggestions about how to use tier 4 arty against tier 6+ tanks? I have an SU-5 with the 152mm mortar barrel and I can't seem to do any real damage to the tanks that are a higher tier than I am.

I stopped at the SU-5 Yeti because of that. It seemed like I could never do enough damage to the Tier VII's and VIII's tanks even with HE. I would hunt out TD's and other arty to be honest.

I never went to the su5 because I realized that above that, you either cant do **** to half the enemies or your shells cost over 1000 silver each. I love splaying with the su26. I've gotten so good with it that as long as I dont get rushed and my team isnt complete dunces we win. I always get compliments on good shots doint those crazy, 1 **** track hit on a full speed bt7 then killing with the follow up type shots.

The SU-26 is easily the funnest arty in the game. I love sniping people with that thing! Can't beat a Tier II arty with a turret!

I'm steelrat2373 on WOT. Also picked up the January issue of Armchair General for $10 and got a free tank,slot,gold and a 30 day premium account, great deal and a nice read too well worth the $10. The premium makes the grind a bit easier.
