What do you use to film your battles?

Thanks! How big (file size) is an average video?

Well they tend to be huge, I edit them down with Camtasia, you could use other studios. That 4 minute vid was 3.5 Gigs, editing put it down to 64 MB. If your vid gets to be about 4 Gigs FRAPS will break it into parts. So they're never more than 4 ish.

There's a setting in WoT that turns on recording of every battle. It doesn't create videos, just replay files that play in WoT, and are less then 1MB in size. I found it best to have this turned on, and then if I have a really good fight I can just Fraps the replay. This way I don't have to bother with Frapsing every game, hoping it's going to be worth replaying, taking up massive disk space.

The replay files are automatically saved to a replay folder, and with such a small file size it takes a whole lot of battles for them to start having an impact on your disk space. The files can be shared with other WoT players so that they can watch your replay. The replays can be paused, sped up, slowed down, etc.

I'll have to remember to post some of the vids I've made of some of the better fights I've had.

Man, I love to hate this game. I'm currently grinding through the mid-tier American tanks. I prefer to scout, so I like to die a lot. My WoT name is Eats_Crayons.

I finally made my way to the long-88mm on the Jagdpanther, suddenly the game got a whole lot more fun.

AKA Fan
That's good to hear. I'm still struggling through the 1st upgraded gun on the JgdPanther in the hopes that things will get better with the long 88.

I'm also suffering with the T20 but my Type 59 is always there if I need a break.
