Ah, ok. Thanks! I was trying to avoid paying the 80 grand to train a new crew to 75%, but it should be a little cheaper with my old hetzer crew.

Diggin the new patch out today.

I have not messed with any of the tanks in my collection that have been "nerfed" (E-50, E-75, M-18) so I cannot speak to the effects there, but I LOVING the new battle modes.

"Assault" provides a typical attack/defend scenario and "Encounter" is a meeting engagement with one centrally located base that must be captured.

It is a really great shake up to some old maps and the game play dynamic is amazingly different. It would be really cool if one could pick which type of game one wants to play, but for now, it is random. The new variety in game play really opens up the tank trees too.

One thing for sure, you really have to pay attention during that loading screen so you can see what type of game you're about to play.

Oh, yeah, and there are a whole slew of "OP" French TD's and arty running around now too. Be the first on YOUR block to kill them all!

M-18 doesn't seem to have been nerfed too bad. It still isn't was it was historically, obviously. The new french vehicles only bother me because none of the TD's were actually manufactured.

I really like the new battle formats. It is going to take me a bit to learn how to play some of these maps sideways though.

The new battle formats end up with the same results, you just get to see the maps and buildings from new angles. I was hoping there would be a true "base" to defend, with structures, walls, sand bags, etc.

I still have fun playing no matter what. I'm just glad there's a few new maps!

I get a kick out of watching people try to come to grips with the idea of attack and defend. The defenders like to attack, and the attackers don't want to move. It's really hilarious watching some of them. Especially since there is only a 10 minute limit rather than the usual 15.
