Hahaha that sounds like fun. Of course the odds of me and anyone I normally play with BOTH getting a jug is pretty slim. On my best nights I'm lucky to approach a 3:1 k/d during a game. Normally its more like I alternate between average and really crappy lol. They have their uses, and I'm sure moreso in tactical games, but I normally only play TDM. And people seem to get them in there left and right only to get killed without killing anything else. I'd rather take my chances on an escort airdrop or hanging on to an emp for when the other team is bringing in killstreak after killstreak. Funny that I mentioned having only seen an assault juggernaut once... Was playing on PSN over my buddy's house and we ran into two of them within a few games of each other. I still managed to kill one of them even though he doesn't have the majority of my weapons of choice unlocked yet.

COD4 remains to be the funnest cod game. It is the only one that doesnt make me rage.

The recon juggie is pretty useful in FFA. Once you can get it you are guaranteed a win as ppl aren't going to focus on you as much as its Everyman for himself. I've started to incorporate the assault juggers into my kill streaks only to get the titles and emblem. After that I'm done with it.

Has anyone seen that they are looking to increase prestige levels in MW3? Its moving from 10 to 15.

Yeah, as much as I like certain things about the game, the basic mechanics are flawed. There's the lag/networking issues- according to XBL's own connection readout I always have full bars and under 50ms ping, yet I'm constantly getting killed by people who, from my perspective, ate half a mag or more without dying, but from the kilcam footage never even got shot. Spawn points are terrible! Every respawn you either get put directly behind or in front of the same person that killed you, or in front of someone else. There's no reason that I should be getting killed, respawning, and taking all of two steps before I get killed again in a dynamic respawn situation. And knifing has always been stupidly overpowered in COD games. There's no way I should be able to shoot a guy twice as he's charging at me to knife and I still get killed in one stroke. Melee should be more like Half-Life where it takes multiple hits to kill. For all the crap that people give Treyarch, I'll be honest, after having thoroughly played both games now I'll be honest, Black Ops was MUCH better balanced and any balance or spawn issues that it had to start with were addressed rather quickly. The "new" Infinity Ward seems to give even less of a crap about balance than the old IW did, and that wasn't much to begin with. Guess I just have to hope a Black Ops sequel isn't too far around the corner...

Here are my 2c on this game. COD doesn’t care about team based gaming. Its all about high KDs. Yeah they try to mask it with support rewards because they didn’t want to loose the casual gamer. Why else is there a MOAB in this game??? LMGs have no role in this game compared to ANY other gun. Its too slow in close situations and too unstable in open situations. Respawn is very difficult thing to address. I agree with you, I hate getting merked by someone I just sent to the deadbox who respawned right around the corner. But its more of a science and I can see that it becomes difficult to address on small maps as you have 2 issues. Issue#1, poor respawning leads to spawn camping by a stronger team. Not good for the team that is being destroyed. Issue#2 “creative” respawning leads to getting shot by that person around the corner. It might be difficult to place someone in a completely empty spot when you have 6 to 12 guys scattered across a map in different locations. Maybe a solution is a larger map? But then larger maps lead to entrenched campers. I don’t have the answer but I think most ppl would agree that spawn camping totally sucks balls especially if you on the losing end of it. On Black Ops there were some maps where we would corner a team on Domination and destroy them. Throw in Chopper Gunner > dogs it was lights out and I would rack up a 50 kill game quite nicely without even trying much. The knifing thing I have no arguments with really. I agree with you guys there. Maybe they can do a BF version where there is at least an animation and if someone is able to kill your opponent during that animation you are ok. It would also to some extent discourage panic knifing. IW dropped the ball on MW3 because there were certain improvements that took place with BOps that they didn’t carry over. Lastly, this will be my last COD game barring a drastic overhall of game mechanics or a semi-futuristic spin (with awesome futuristic kill streaks!!) on this series. It’s the same toots/different foot game in and game out.

Weapon balance is my biggest issue with mw3. A shotgun fired from the hip does not become 50% more accurate with a vertical grip stuck on it. It also does not have the same effective range as a smg or assault rifle. No matter what the stats say the striker is overpowered to the 9's. Also the maps feel more like a paintball field than a warzone. I don't have battlefield 3, but I'm thinking about getting it. I shouldn't need a perk to take away the glowing neon sign over my head while I'm trying to snipe. And getting counter sniped by a guy with a ump 45 at the same range ends in rage quits.
