Want to buy used 15 or 17" LCD Monitor - advice? - Page 2

If you're only going to be using your computer for a couple hours a day at work;
My company is selling off a few older 15" IBM LCDs. If you're at your computer all day, I would suggest something better, but if not, then I'll see what kind of price we're looking for.

They are asking for $100 each + shipping for 2 IBM L150. Text quality is decent. Picture quality is not so good. They have seen some use, but are in decent shape.

I just bought this a 19" widescreen LCD from Best Buy on sale for $150. It's a no frills monitor but it looks really nice and has a helluva lot of real estate. It's by far the cheapest 19" I've found without a mail in rebate.

VGA on an LCD always looks like what you drop in the toilet after mexican food.

Just make sure the thing has DVI out and the native resolution is decent. I got a brand new LG 20 inch widescreenflatron for 150 dollars after 150 dollars mail in rebate through circuit city just this year. Just keep your eyes pealed.
