One of my friends has a Bamboo, she is pretty happy with it I believe. I invested in a new Intuos 4 last year. Since I stopped using most traditional media a little while ago, it only made sense to spend the money on proper equipment.

The Bamboo's have some pretty good features that were ported over from the Intuos 3 when they replaced the Graphire line. I might have gone with the Bamboo, but it wasn't big enough for how I like to work, and the Intuos has a few more features.

I would probably love a Cintiq..buuuuuuuuut I'm broke. No chance in hell I'll get one of those soon.

I'm a little late to the party, but I got a Bamboo Capture for Christmas and love it. It's a great tool that I keep near by all the time.

I have the pen/touch and I've gotta say it makes editing for 5 hours actually enjoyable, worth the money.

This is true. I had to take a break after a few hours but I'll be back at it in a second.
