One of my friends has a Bamboo, she is pretty happy with it I believe. I invested in a new Intuos 4 last year. Since I stopped using most traditional media a little while ago, it only made sense to spend the money on proper equipment.
The Bamboo's have some pretty good features that were ported over from the Intuos 3 when they replaced the Graphire line. I might have gone with the Bamboo, but it wasn't big enough for how I like to work, and the Intuos has a few more features.
I would probably love a Cintiq..buuuuuuuuut I'm broke. No chance in hell I'll get one of those soon.
