The problem with these all in one devices is you sacrifice phone reception quality.

Usualy you can just slip your SIM card into it call your wireless company and add internetz to your plan then find the configuration info on thier web site and your good to go. Then you just keep your old phone sitting around charged in case of failure you just swap out the SIM card to the working phone and your still good to go. eBay - unlocked items on eBay.com

I don't know if I'm making sense here or not, but I always thought that if you were using a portable device like that (blackberry, treo, etc.) that you were getting stripped down versions of the internet or "mobile" internet and the iPhone actually uses Safari and give you the full site or something. Also, I heard thats why they went with AT&T as a carrier because they were the only ones willing to build that service for them. I heard all this as word of mouth so don't quote me on anything. Thats why I'm asking about it. Anyone know? P.S. The reason I bring this up is because I don't know exactly what you want to do, but it may be better for you to have that full internet access if this is true. |

Pages render slightly different so it can fit on the screen or you can go with the scrolling up/down/left/right thing, which is annoying with some pages/sites. |
