I love IL2, Cliffs is an insult to the series. The CoD acronym should have been fair warning. I still enjoy 1946 though.

I picked it up when it was on sale awhile back. Tried it a few times, but the series still suffers from a very poor interface for configuring your controls. I haven't had time to get around to setting everything up properly. If you haven't touched the series since early post launch, I strongly suggest going back. A lot of patch work has greatly improved things.

I really need to get around to building a custom set of flight controls. I'm just really unhappy with most of the standard off the shelf options out there.
