I'll put it this way - 95% of the game is great. There are some cheesy parts, and the character animation could be better (Stephen Hawking has better moves than Anderson), but it's coo9l.

The last 10 minutes though - horrible. The endi ng may be salvagable, but that's around June.

It's kinda like comparing Empire Strikes Back to Return of the Jedi. Empire was so awesome that Jedi was a little disappointing. But if you could look past the Ewoks, it wasn't a terrible movie.

Yeah it's a good game. Just try and ignore the last 10 minutes of it.

I'd just rent it for a few days from Redbox.

So, the Extended Edition is now available for download. I got it. If you have finished the game, it creates a new save right before you attack the Cerberus Base. You have to play through the game from that point to seen the "extended" ending.

Marauder Shields, here I come!

Just so you know , the Volus is....interesting to play lol. Has a few shortcomings (pun intended). But they are definitely a solid support class. I got the Volus Adept this afternoon and put him through a few rounds. Can pretty easily and quickly pull off a few Biotic Explosions, and can replenish his and allies shields. Also has a tactical cloak and force field in place of a melee.

He can't hide behind cover or climb/vault stuff cause of his size however.
Going to try a bit more of him now.

Also, the collectors are a lot more badass than in ME2.

Still don't have the Asari Adept tho

Volus are super squishy but make great support characters. Problem is they are nearly useless when people don't play as a team. You really need to stick with someone to make up for the low health and lack of cover. On the upside they have great team shield repair and tactical cloak.

Turian Ghost Infiltrator, now that is a fun class. It's basically a Turian Soldier with tech overload and tactical cloak. Works well with just about any gun too.

I do like the Collectors, a bit harder than the other factions but they sure blow up real good. It's also nice to something new to fight too.

Has anyone noticed an increase in difficulty? Getting two shotted by basic troopers on silver isn't fun. I used to play Platinum but I'm not even sure if I want to attempt that now..

Overall, I like the DLC. It's great, adds 16 new classes, some map redesigns, environmental hazards, new guns, attachments, gear, and challenges / achievements.

The Collectors are tough. Round 10 had us trying to activate devices and we got mobbed with a Praetorian and a Scion camped out on device 1.
