So, who has tried the multiplayer demo?
I finally downloaded it and got sucked into a couple of rounds. Got me a Krogan soldier in my rookie box. I'm quite enjoying this multiplayer experience, way better working with ppl than fighting against. Def goin to waste more time with it.

Can't wait to get my full copy in a few weeks.

Why are they adding multiplayer in the first place? I seriously doubt people are going to ditch Call of Duty to play Mass Effect online so why add it for the 3rd and final installment?

I was warned not to play the demo; apparently it has what some consider a spoiler in it

and I also heard that unless you bought battlefield3, you can't play multiplayer in teh demo

only thing id like multiplayer is co-op, would be nice to have company sometimes

also, i love how they talk about the whole me3 "space launch" and then never say another word about it.. typical EA

i live in vegas, and am not currently working, ill go chase a GPS signal all day if it means i get a free copy of the game

Because BioWare belongs to EA now, and EA's core policy (as of a year or so ago) is that ALL games will have a multiplayer element. I'm just glad that BioWare didn't cheap out on multiplayer and made it pertinent and fun to the Mass Effect core gameplay. Hoping to get onto it and experience it directly once my new rig shows up next month.

I loved the multiplayer demo. 4 player Mass Effect co-op was great. This is coming from someone who ran through the first game 5+ times and the second one 3+ times. I can't speak for playing with randoms, but I played with 3 buddies and it was a blast.

The demo is open to everyone now. I'm not playing the actual game demo due to any spoilers but the multiplayer aspect is cool. The concept is the better u do in the multiplayer, it helps your overall in game mission to beat the reapers in the regular game. You don't have to play multiplayer at all, but I think they did a great job with it so far.

Will it replace COD? no not at all, but I don't play COD :)
