i love the reflections but i think there are too many birds in the shot. its hard to tell where one begins and the other ends sometimes.

It would've been quite awesome to have them all stareing at the camera in a creepy sort of way. It seems a little plain and too zoomed in for me. I do like the detail though.

Most people don't know that skittish is the proper spelling for "jittery". Don't believe me... Look it up.

On the first shot there is too much fo the eyes to just focus on one part of the photo. The birds create a pattern on the top half of the photo and their reflections create another that make it hard to look at one area.

Second photo: not a fan of the post-processing. The watermark is also distracting. I"m on the fence if I like the crashing waves or not. I think if the photo were to be retaken, I'd like to see the larger (gulls?) out of the frame and also have the photo shot from a slightly lower perspective.

I agree with the lower perspective part but not so low you're seeing gull anus...

Also the background because of the sand is quite burned out would you be able to take a correct exposure and try to combine it with a lower exposure image.

I don't mind the post processing though just the harsh burning in the background is what gets me.

Also right side could use a little more cropping to get rid of the clipped gull.
