Hahaha with a direct taunt like that at the end of the video, Legends had better damn well be a better game... and to be honest it didn't look like it was- I remember the graphics in Sins being way better/slicker than that

Also, there is more to Sins than the gameplay elements that game bragged about... it has excellent multiplayer gameplay dynamic and the interface works well. Nice to see more space RTS games though (but I doubt it can top Rebellion which is excellent so far).

Heads up for SOASE gamers, Rebellion released today on Steam, its their top seller... and reviews are extremely positive. We will definitely be doing a LAN game of this on the weekend to celebrate

I'm not picking it up until the Collectors Edition comes out.

Along with the model you also get it..

Quote:
Set of Rebellion dog tags
Metal imaged mouse pad with Rebellion artwork
Steelbook DVD Case with game DVD and 2 music CDs
Two 18x26" Rebellion posters
I'm always a sucker for steelbook cases with nice artwork but I think the Kol Battleship model tops that.

And it sounds like you can "upgrade" the standard game and get the collectors edition.

Edit:

Here's another pic of the model. Looks like a prototype.

The detail doesn't look that bad up close.

I'm definitely liking what they've added in.

New skill trees
6 Titans
6 new capital ships
6 new corvettes
extended level cap for capital ships ( Rank 3 signature abilities ftw! )
new ways to win a match
3 new factions

It's essentially the same game but with MORE. The new ships and skills bring new strategy to the table.

Oh.. and TEC loyalists can now have two starbases and a Titan in the same grav well. O_O

yep, its awesome. one issue we did run into, the AI is nerfed or something so if you're doing vs CPU games, better kick it up to highest difficulty. will figure out Friday how hard they need to be for three AI opponents to be worth playing. gonna do 3v3 matches online once we are ready. and yea, loyalist TEC rocks for my main playstyle

Heads up guys! Rebellion is on sale right now on steam, $29!!!! wicked steal for a damn great game... we have been playing this so much lately in 3v3 matches, it's consistently a blast (even when the games go for over four hours)
