Tomorrow When The War Began Just finished watching it and have to say that I was surprised by how well I thought it turned out. Had great character development, didn't overdue the fight scenes, and left a nice cliff hanger for the next few books to be turned into movies.

Definitely recommend Season 1 and 2 for Sherlock. Really well done modernization. The two creators are real sherlock nerds and the homages and references are well done. And a nice way to get glimpses of what is to come from those actors in The Hobbit and the new Star Trek movie. Season 3 doesn't get filmed until 2013 I believe.

I mentioned this movie I saw on NetFlix, in the "Movies you have never seen thread"... The Agony and the Ecstasy (1965) starring Charlton Heston. Anyway, it is about the painter Michelangelo (Charlton Heston) painting the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel after being commissioned by the Pope to do it. The ceiling ended up taking several years to complete, all the while the Pope was constantly nagging Michelangelo to hurry up. A pretty good film.

We watch a pretty eclectic set of things... from all the chinese stuff my wife likes to the raunch comedy stuff I enjoy. The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret -- one of the funniest things I've seen in my life. Indescribable. Attack the Block -- good sci-fi "invasion of a european slum by aliens" kind of movie. About the hoodlums fighting back to save their slum. The Guild -- great parody of WoW players lives. Funny series. Sherlock, as mentioned like 20 times already. It is really that good. Dr. Who -- same as above Dragon Tiger Gate -- good kung-fu film, subtitled Jiro Dreams of Sushi -- just a really good step-back-and-think piece about what you do for a living and how you can always better yourself. About a really old japanese dude who is renowned for his sushi in this tiny sushi bar. Workaholics -- for the "still in college phase" adults and I'll close out with: Lilyhammer -- the netflix original series. I really enjoyed it.
