Photo printing places? Recommendations?

Hey guys, I was snapping pics for a few friends at undergrad and want to give them collages as "graduation" gifts.

I was planning on using the digital collage print feature in Lightroom and send it to a place to print.

First place that comes to mind is Adorama and the price isn't bad for a 16x20.
Photo Prints - Online Digital Photo Printing, Professional Large Quality Prints - AdoramaPix

Anyone ever use them? Or anyplace similar?

I asked something similar last week, but for photos in general, not larger sizes. Maybe three pages of posts will help!

Yeah I briefly browsed through that thread.
I've used walmart for basic prints and it was meh. They're cheap and can push out a bunch of smaller standard prints.

Target is better in quality, but also limited in what they can print.

I usually make something like this (craptastic cell pic)

But instead I want to print something more "professional" looking like this.

shutterfly.com does some GREAT stuff...
if you live next to a wolf camera or a ritz camera (both the same company) they can do some great printing too...

You can always drop a few grand on a commercial grade plotter like I use

I've used Kinko's in the past with good results.

Kodak has some pretty cheap prints online, they weren't bad quality either.

the middle one was printed with shutterfly. the others were done at a target with a portrait studio. i know its not the greatest pic to show them off but i fugured you might get a good idea

Monte, did you collage it yourself or did shutterfly set it up?

I'd hate to order from an online place because I'm afraid they'll screw with the format. There's been times that I use walmart photo for example, photos are touched to my liking, I get em, and they are all out of format.

Hmmm.

Welp, I was in walmart and found out they were able to do large prints.

$10 for a 16x20 and took 10 minutes. Quality is actually pretty good and being in grad school, it's nice to have it at a low cost
