richard avedon was a name i didnt know until i finally took a photography class a couple semesters ago. now though, i LOVE his work. hes supremely intimate b+w portraits never fail to evoke some sort of emotion, no matter the subject.

That second photo is actually tack sharp, I just linked it from Facebook which screwed up the quality.

I've had his website bookmarked on my computer since I started shooting portraits. I love his work.
