My first try at using a bright white background for a portrait. Thoughts?

I think it need to be straight, it falls badly to the left.

Agree, along with I'm finding the bright white background almost a little overpowering. I think a little bit tighter composition towards the face or a little PS magic is required on the background would fix it up nicely

I like your watermark BTW.

It looks like you're trying to go for a high key photo. I feel there's too much dark in here for that (the shirt, the focus on the dark eyes). A lot of high key work, the skin on a person is almost white as well.. with just barely a definition of curvature in the face. Change your exposure up, and change your composition.. this one is nothing to post about.
