Thoughts on Sony SLT cameras?

Just curious if anyone had any thoughts on the Sony Alpha SLT cameras. I've seen these selling pretty cheap lately, including $440 with the kit lens from Adorama for the a35 model.

I love my Alpha 77. My wife has an older Alpha 390 and loves it. The Alpha 35 is a good choice if you are just getting into it. It is all about personal preference.

I live in Belmont and work in Concord if you want to check a sony out before buying.

Bought an Alpha 65, and I'm really liking it. Mostly got it because of the great video capabilities (1080/50/60p) but at this point I'm liking the whole package. The kit lens was, as usual, nothing to brag about, but it's found usage on the field since a cheap lens can be a good idea in those conditions.

I've been circling the wagon lately trying to find something to replace my 30D since I'm not totally happy with the high ISO performance. The Alpha SLT cameras look like an option, but I'm also considering the Canon 50D with Magic Lantern or 60D. I'm not tied to my Canon lenses so I am willing to switch systems.
