Made an airsoft promo

Took my camera and some of the local players and made a little promo for our fields that have recently also become airsoft fields, with the motto "the way it feels, not necessarily the way it is"

Camera used was a Sony a65 on a glidecam and a few different lenses, the favorite being the Samyang 14mm.

I'm the guy getting shot in the trench, and also the guy doing some running and gunning in the same trench. Continuity is overrated.

Holy moly! That was awesome! I really want to try airsoft and this made me want to try it even more lol. BTW, how you like the A66? I've been wanting to try one since they came out.

Really liking it. For what I do, the added frames at that resolution really makes a difference for video, and I really don't have any complaints about the camera for stills either.

The thing I'd really recommend is the 14mm wide angle from Samyang (think it's also resold by bower and rokinon), with the APS-C crop it gives a beautiful wide angle without being too extreme.

If you're getting it for DSLR-video, then I'd really recommend going a step up to the HD-2000. I got the HD-1000 thinking I wouldn't use it for anything but the camcorder, but I'm at max weight/height with the Alpha and the 14mm. Tossing a videomic on it would bring it over.

Also, beware of knock-offs. There are other stabilizers using the same idea, but the clones I've tried haven't help up well when it comes to balancing and fine-tuning.
