if youre on a bike, could you just strap the tripod under the top tube? just get a couple of those little bungee things and youd be good to go.

Well motorcycle, and i had planned on strapping it somewhere to the motorcycle or just under the bottom of the bag for travel. Main reason for a full on tripod is i like to do long shutter speed shots, monopod wont cut it.
