Well I screwed up and lost my black XP relic a guy have me last night. I did manage to get my Siren to 50 last night though, we had 3 guys running a +50% XP relic so we hit up the vault of the Warrior and did that then just farmed Rakks until we all hit 50. I got a couple Blood of Seraphs Relics from the guy too, it was a productive night in the Borderlands.

Well, just got my newer Zero to lvl 40 after losing my first Zero save to modio
sacrificed for some great Legendaries kinda worth it I guess

Also for some reason my Badass Rank got reset when I jumped on Live to get updates???

Man would I sure love an increase in rare loot, the last few things acquired in
TVHM were great and all but just still a bit not effective against enemies

Maybe it's just having been worn down from a solid work week straight through

Can't wait for the new Vault Hunter and other stuff maybe that'll be a good refresher Lol

straight from gear box webpage for borderlands 2

BL2 Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode Details - Gearbox Software Community

Among the level cap increase and various other changes coming to Borderlands 2 on April 2, 2013 is a new playthrough -- Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode -- built for challenging high-level play.

Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode differs quite a bit from Normal Mode and True Vault Hunter Mode -- here's a quick rundown of the major changes:

Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode Details

Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode is unlocked for a character once they have completed the main story missions in True Vault Hunter Mode and reached level 50.
Unlike other playthroughs, Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode can be replayed multiple times with players able to reset their overall mission progress at any time from the Main Menu.
No more tutorial missions -- characters in Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode begin in Southern Shelf with the "Cleaning Up the Berg" mission.
While playing in Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode, enemies and bosses will scale according to the player's current level or, if playing with others, the highest-level player in that party.
Gameplay changes in UVHM:
Enemy health generally increased 4x.
Enemies now have a moderate amount of health regeneration.
Increased duration of slag damage multiplier effect.
Upgraded the damage that slagged enemies take from 2x to 3x.
Weapon swap speed increased to better facilitate slag use.
Enemies now more likely to drop ammo.
Loot Midgets are now "Legendary Loot Midgets" that can drop Legendary and other top-tier gear.

Check back Monday for details on the various bug fixes in Tuesday's update, and don't forget there's more to come for Borderlands 2: Krieg the Psycho, a new playable character, arrives in May with the fourth campaign add-on (included in the Season Pass) hitting by the end of June!

Update tomorrow. Got my Zero up to lvl 42, I have been abusing the smasher glitch to try to get him up higher fast so I can get onto getting my other characters up to 61 after the level cap increase. Looking forward to the new lvl cap, I am starting to get bored with the game a little.

I believe they are fixing the glitch for the Evil Smasher buff.

EDIT: Yep. Here's the patch notes.

I just saw that. Now I am glad I used it the last couple days to crank up my Zero. I may disable my wireless for a bit tomorrow and get him up to 50 before I get the update.

Same here abuse the glitch until siren is 50. Then turn wireless back on.found the most awesome power combo yesterday with siren and only need 3 more lvls to 50.
Will miss the glitch for lvling.but it needs to go.

isn't the evil smasher glitch kinda a pain to get stacked well to begin with? imho not worth the effort.

Can't wait for the new levels and such, though not looking forward to the rediculous exponentially stupid enemy scaling...sounds like players are going to run out of ammo rather quickly if they have to dump hundreds of bullets onto each guy...

Man up guys. I still do my leveling the old-fashioned way. Grind it out!

Just in the little I played this morning, the enemy health increase is definitely noticeable. I'm finding myself doing one of two things: going through a crap-ton of ammo or using slag. Seems to me slag is pretty much a necessity. We'll see as things progress.

Oh, it is (or was) worth the effort. Just stack up the damage and run all the bosses in one go. Tried it a couple times, but to me it felt like a cheap way to do things.

I think that's what Gearbox had in mind though. BL2 was easy enough, so why not jack up the difficulty? I think it is intended for the more hardcore players and grinders anyway.

At least it's not like the Promethian Knights in Halo 4. THOSE guys are a pain in the ***. This can be, but at least you can progress a character unlike other high-difficulty shooters.
