this proves that every time company makes games for all systems. they will not be able to detect all the bugs or flaws. since people love to hack or mess with there systems or game manually. it also proves how hard it is to make patch for games too. since bug might make they have to rewrite most or lager part of game over to stop it. i not surprise this might of happen. it also proves the fact its it might not be safe join in group of people if you do not know them. this follows the line that never winter nights had for people making items to have virus or bugs in gear or weapons or for maps made by people this why it better to have system like wow does. since its stop any addons or messing with game. stop fact you might get virus or bug from happening.

Stupid oversight by the devs. Hardcore mode should have been an option for all platforms from the get go.

It's always the dicks using exploits that screws up MP games. That's why I wish they'd shift back to split screen localized MP.

it also just prove what people will do or go threw. to get what they want or effect the game in a way they should not be able to. we had same issue with AD&D game neverwinter nights. they made so people can create any they want and make maps any way they wanted too. by doing that you made it to easy for people to create virus or bugs to give to people and have it spread so quickly. they thought they could get patches out or stop any thing like this from happen. but all it did was fuel the fire. by challenging the power to be to see what they can get away with or mess with. just like microsoft. where they think have handle of stopping people from hacking or send out virus. but they can not control what people do. since your always going get people that will modify or change things since they love to mess with company's programs to make easy for them self or hard on others.

This. RPG's that have this option (even if I don't use it very often admittedly) make the game more challenging and give you a reason not to rush into situations in game without thinking it through

Not often enough, and when they do it's often in games that people don't play long.

I'd rather see this than a rushed single player campaign or gameplay clearly designed to cater to the lame run and gun online MP gameplay.

Fixed that for you.

However, from a software development stand point, this is technically a fairly minor issue, and is the result of external exploits. The software is working as expected, and the problem only comes up when dealing with someone that is doing something they're not suppose to be able to do.
