increase PC boot time

www.soluto.com download it, create a login name. Restart your computer and it'll learn how your computer boots up and gives you a list of startup tasks you can remove or delay. I increased my speed by 50 seconds. Then i uninstalled it.

it works.

You increased your boot up time intentionally?

Sounds better to go tomshardware and read a couple of guides than to install a dodgy program that requires a login. Pretty darn nice to increase boot by 50 seconds though

I am guessing this is decrease boot up time. so I will read this post as I see it, you made your pc boot up 50 seconds faster.. Wth do you have that took that long to boot? I have never timed my i7 but there is no way it takes more than 20-30 seconds to boot..

If you uninstall it, I remember it clearly undoing whatever it did, so you'd have to keep it installed, that was the catch behind it.

with my old E6510 I was at 20 seconds flat with my SSD. With my current Alienware I gave up the SSD for more power in cpu and gpu but I'm still at 35 second max boot from cold

1. Start -> run -> MSCONFIG -> enter
Look at the startup tab and services tab.

No download required.
