Far Cry 3

It looks like they might have finally resolved my biggest gripe from FC2, outposts. Now, when you clear them out, guys on your side will come and take it over and watch it. No idea if they can be attacked and go back to the other side, but that's so much better than getting attacked at Every. Single. Intersection.

I found those to be more avoidable by using the bus. A very welcome change though. My biggest gripe is Far Cry 2 having no sound and door bugs now that I actually purchased the game.

My biggest problem with Far Cry 2 was the travel and the broken stealth. They seem to have fixed both of those, so I am looking forward to this. Less than a month left.

It is a shame they took out the weapon degradation though, that was a nice feature, in my opinion. A random jam chance adds a bit to a game.

I rented this from Redbox yesterday and put several hours on it. It's a very fun game. There is a lot to do and a lot to see. There is a crafting system which is how you increase what you can carry, so you can't just buy your gear. That's good because money is easy to come by. The biggest challenge right off the bat is ammo. I'm not a hoser, but your first level of carrying capacity gets you used to not having much on hand. Many more pros to the game, and very few cons IMO.

Its really awesome. The story is arguably one of the best stories Ive ever played in a game. My only real gripe is that the online system seems to fail fairly often. Dropped connections and laggy gameplay. I dont think its my connection because my othr games al run flawlessly.

This gets my nomination for game of the year. The story was great, a couple wtf moments, but overall it was awesome. The voice acting and the music added to certain missions was outstanding. I rented it and finished the game but I want to buy it now to go through all the side stuff and reach 100% complete. I'd done all the radio towers and only had a few outposts left to take over, besides a few of the supply missions and crafting stuff.

Trying not to type any spoilers, but the ending was....interesting.

I love taking a glider then dropping off of it into wing suit mode to parachute into a base.

After beating the game I've been finding the highest/best places to BASE jump using the wing suit.

The fact that bullets won't register at some distance is really annoying.
Few weapons is another gripe along with the poor AI.

Huh, I thought there were plenty of weapons. Did you complete enough radio towers?

Bullets seemed to register fine for me. I smoked several fools with the .44 and desert eagle from some pretty good distances. Sniped some guys from a ways away too. What platform are you playing it on? I played it on the 360.
