I run a deathadder also, got it for $30 on sale at frys about a year ago. No need for the software which I uninstalled almost immediately, I used to play a TON and had to download the keyboard drivers to take advantage of the macro keys on my blackwidow, but I don't bother with them anymore. Unless you really want to pin point your DPI, you don't really need the software. I just adjust in game/through windows and have different speeds for different games.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. I went and purchased the updated version of the MX518 which is the G400 3600dpi. same basic design all matte black with an upgraded sensor.
