Extension Tubes

Amazon.com: Fotodiox Canon EOS Macro Extension Tube Set Kit for Extreme Close-up: Electronics

Has anyone used these? I'm ordering some stuff from Amazon soon and I'm debating putting these in the cart.

I got some.....pretty fun for the price! Get crazy close. I am still getting used to them. Only had them for a week or so.

Sweet, I guess I'll order some!

There are butterfly gardens where I work, and I can get pretty close with my 70-200, but still that extra distance will help! Thanks for the input.

Yea man for the little amount of cash they cost they are a fun piece of equip. to toss in your bag. Ill post a pic i took with them on later.

Keep in mind they are the cheaper ones have no elec. contacts so you loose AF (not used for maco anyways) and you manually have to set the aperture and all.....not like you dont im guessing anyways and im sure you knew that already.

It is a pain with a kit-lens thtough because there is no Aperture ring

I have the Canon 12 mm (I think) extension tube. Very fun to use and a great way to start getting into Macro stuff. Compact as hell, a lot nicer than carrying around a more or less dedicated Macro lens...
