So just started watching Docter Who for the first time (the newest version)

This show is hilarious

The Doctor: I'm the Doctor, by the way. What's your name?
Rose: Rose.
The Doctor: Nice to meet you, Rose. Run for your life!

Jackie Tyler: I'm in my dressing gown.
The Doctor: Yes, you are.
Jackie: There's a strange man in my bedroom.
The Doctor: Yes, there is.
Jackie: Well, anything could happen.
The Doctor: No.

the witty humor in the show is what makes it great. Eventually you realize you've also become very attached to certain people as well; it kinda sneaks up on you.

Yeah, I was bred to be a Dr. Who nut- my father and I used to watch the old episodes then they aired on PBS back in the day, and now my whole family watches the new series. You've got a long way to go and the obsession only gets worse from here lol...

I started watching with my wife, now we pretty much don't watch anything else. We'll probably go on to the older ones after.

Watched the 6 seasons that netflix has in about a month, finally broke down and bought the 5 episodes of season 7 on amazon instant and now to watch all the old seasons that are on netflix now. Oh and figure out when the christmas special comes on..

For those needing something to else to watch cause you ran out of Who, give BBC's Sherlock a try. One of the co-creators of it was a writer for Who, then became the head writer for Who when the 11th doctor came.

Also, you don't need to watch Torchwood. It's not very good.
