Windows Movie maker VS Movie maker "Live"

So i have both versions but i find that (for free) editing software the original Windows Movie Maker interface is so much more user friendly. And the Live version is nice to support my Hero2 movies right away but i have a program to converge them into AVI format so the original version works. I just find that with the WMM Live the video is very choppy and hard to edit nice. Anyone else have any thoughts?

maybe it's your bitrate. when you make the video make sure the in settings, if there is one, the bitrate is like around 8mbps, not 10 or higher.

how do you see that on a Hero2?
