I think I discovered why music downloading is so popular....

So I bought a music CD today, first I'd bought in about 5 years!

30 minutes, and a full company of Marines later, I finally got the CD out of the packing.

My gosh, if they wanted to stop illegal music downloading, they could have just made easy open packages!

Here in canada it isnt illegal to download things.....and since those "things" are put up on sites where its legal (in swedan i think it was) everything seems to be alright so far...i havent seen any major busts

but lets not get on the topic of illegal activity so i have to close this thread

Switchblade Kittens, now that's a good band name.

Better to support local artists by actually going to their gigs. If you want a CD, buy it there and skip the middleman.

Don't the Switchblade Kittens sing "Ode to Harry Potter?" That was on my iPod at work the other day.

Or you can buy it online and not use " I cant find it locally" as an excuse.

Google Music: Tristania

Google Music: Switchblade Kittens

Yea, I agree with Russc.
I mostly only go to local shows, but there CDs and merch.
Local Ska shows are the best.
