IT surveillance system

Every company has at least one or two people, seems to take up 90% of the IT support cases, to find out why I decided to set up a surveillance camera up and see just what the hell is going on.

to my surprise this is what I have captured security footage

oh, I don't know.

Some of it looks like it was staged. Like the one where the guy grabs a sledge hammer... Notice everyone else in the room has a flat panel on their desk and his looks like a very old XT case.

Now, photocopying the screen? Funny! I don't see the purpose but still funny.

Hosing someone with a fire extinguisher, probably staged, since most states make it illegal to put "hidden" cameras in restrooms... Still funny

The guy grabbing the phone and flinging it across the room after smashing it: Come on now, we've all done that with the office chatter mouth!

Now, the guy wigging out on the large conference room table only to grab the keyboard and use it on the guys head, I say STAGED since we've all seen that in Pro-Wrestling

Now, that is the ONE thing I am betting that is common in all these scenes?
--> They were all running Windows.

I saw this coming... lol.

I'd say much of the security cam stuff is probably real. Seen much of it before. Some people just need a vacation, I guess.

Anyone else notice Lumbars cameo appearance toward the end when the old man throws the monitor at the paper airplane guy? Mug and all!

Maybe they would of had a better day if they had worn their Hawaiian Shirts?

A couple of those videos have circulated by them selves over the years.. Good stuff.

Lately I've been coming really close to doing the Phone throw with the guy who sits across from me. GOD I HATE SPEAKERPHONE. There are 50 people in the area. Do we all need to know what you did last night or what your doctor told you, and have the response from the idiot your talking to broadcast through the office? JUST SHUT UP!

"SERENITY NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Back in my phone support days the reps had laptops paid for by the company, this chick called me and said that it wouldn't turn on, we went through the usual cover your ass BS check this check that....ok FedEx it in, we'll get it and no matter what get a replacement out to you the following day.

I get the box, open it up, take out the laptop and try to open it only to find that she poured and entire jar of honey onto the keyboard. I guess she thought she would get a brandy new Dell out of the deal but I yanked a shell for another creaky old 650mhz machine out of stock, swapped the hard drive and sent it back with a post it on the display "Have a nice day! " she never called back..

Much of it is staged, but having said that the open office concept (we live in a cube farm here) does tend to make you want to cause undue harm to folks that contribute to your daily work stress there is a constant noise in the office, I came in on a saturday once and I just about got freaked out by how quiet it was.
