| Mod & Underwear Model | Blackberry Weather Fixed For the blackberry users out there who (like me) cried when BB Weather stopped working earlier this month.... .77 is out via OTA install and does seem to work. Avoid .76 which is also linked on this page. ...and there was much rejoicing. BBWeather

| Do you use the Google Maps applet for Blackberry? I've been using it exclusively over the BB maps application and love it. Especially the "My location" feature that uses triangulation to find you. However, i just installed the most recent version and while the interface is even nicer the mylocation feature sucks now Any experience with this app?

I do use Google Maps (sleeze bag ATT has an xml config file that blocks BB Maps) Actually I prefer the Google version anyway. My 8320 has GPS built in, so I dont really use the tower triangulation anymore. The only time I use Triangulation is when I'm playing with it inside the office and can't get a GPS fix. Just checking it now and it seems to be working pretty well....shows me within about 1/4 mile of where I actually am. I'm running Google Maps v 2.0.0(build 2025) on mine...haven't had any problems with it....now I'm thinking I'll avoid upgrading based on what you just told me. What version are you running, and what broke? (besides, I live and work in the sticks....there's only ever 1 tower for it to "triangulate" off of anyway!)

| Ahh yeah, unfortunately my curve doesn't have GPS built in. This is version 2.1.0 I may stay at this version anyway. The my location is enough to at least get my current location on the map, but it's definitely much less accurate than it was. Sitting in my office it puts my location as in Summit (I work in Murray Hill the next town over). Before it would nail me down to the right street. now i'm not even with the "guess zone" (the circle) hmm i'll have to play around some more before I decide to revert or not.
