computer warz!

ok, I ssh'd into my brothers iMac, restarted it a few times and confused the hell out of him, but now he knows, and has changed his password. he has retaliated by unplugging my monitor and keyboard (clever, huh? )

Since he changed his password and i can't readily log in to his account (and hes the only admin on that computer), what could i do next? (from my linucks box or a standard user on his mac) I COULD reset his password (if you get the password wrong enough times is asks for the "mastermaster password" which i know.) but since it removes his password he would know i did something.

any ideas? i'm pretty computer savvy, but he isn't (at all) so anything will do

Well...you could just keep resetting his password, but do nothing else

Or maybe google the interweb for a some sort of freeware password capture program for a Mac...

I know of a site that has a free Windows PC password recovery tool. You run a CD in the drive and it pulls information, then you upload it to a website and 72 hours later they send you a password. (Less if you pay, but WHY would you do that?!) Then you could mess with his account without changing his password.

Is this one of the new iMac all-in-ones where it's basically a notebook computer slapped on the back of an, or one of the older CRT based iMacs?

Or find some crazy boot CD and leave that in the CD drive...

What's with you and peanut butter tonight man?
I told you using it as a personal lubricant was a bad idea.

If you do get on his account, give him the heard virus (AKA the one that makes your icons move away from your mouse). Fun stuff right there.

Or you could put a piece of clear tape on the bottom of his mouse, it might mess with him for a little while.
