| I've been doing more research than I should have to, in looking for a new MP3 player. Basically just need something 16gb+, for Music/Photos/Video & FM Radio would be nice. After ditching IPod ideas, got my search down to a 16gb Creative Zen, or an 80gb Zune. But after reading tons of bad reviews on both o those... I'm back to where I started... Thoughts, Suggestions? thanks, -baller

| Ive got an Insignia 4gb sport, a bit small for what you might be looking for, but it has an additional SD slot, does movies, photos, ebooks, and has bluetooth audio support. Cost me $60 off of ebay.

| I got a Sandisk Sansa, which that line is not really what you're looking for - close, as you can upgrade the 8gb model up another 4gb (I think) and they have an awesome screen that really plays video well. But Sandisk may have something else in their products that would fit your bill. I'm very happy with mine, and they only problem I've had with it is one I created (always leave about 15mb free for your playlists and whatnot, don't overstuff with more music).

| I ended up getting a 30GB Zune late last year because everyone and their cousin was selling them (new or refurb with warranty) for under a hundred bucks, but I'm not sure where might have them for that price now. More than enough storage space for what I will stick on it, the screen looks good, and in the odd times it isn't plugged into USB for power, the battery seems to last an acceptable amount of time. You can get AV output cables for it too to plug into a TV as a portable video player. |

| I have had my 20GB Rio Karma for 5 years at least. It still works great (with the exception of a dead battery... needs to be plugged in all the time) I would toss it in the mix for recommendation as they are inexpensive and have lots of quality audio features without going overboard. Pros: 5 band EQ with customizable presets Dock with RCA out and network capability... (output to your stereo and/or access your music from any PC on the network) Easy to manage software Cons: File system is proprietary and does not work under Linux and you have to have the software installed on your PC to add/remove files I had another big one, but forgot while writing this.. will edit when it comes back to me.

| I love my creatives, I have about five different models, none of them are broken excluding one that got dropped about 50 times.

| Active Member | I second the Sandisk Sensa, i have two different models and they are both great, great video capabilities, and nice screen, memory is upgradable as well. As for the creative MP3s i also speak for their durability, i had on, lost it one night in a corn field out back behind my friends house (playing a one on one game of paintball and forgot to take it out of my pocket) and when i realized it was gone the next afternoon i found it back there in some dirt. Cleaned it off, charged it up, and it still worked great. |
