| How To Recover Password? (Dell Computer?) So my mom got a free computer from her business. It was used one time by a guy that worked there but left a while ago. We hooked it up and soon figured out that we need a password to get on the computer. The username is "Tom", the guy who used it. So what should I do? It's a Dell Optiplex 320 if that helps. Thanks in advance! |

| what i always use to do on a windows xp computer was to start the computer up in safe mode, and sign in as the computer administrator. If this is not password protected, go to the control panel and select the user account and remove the password. F8 or F2 should be safe mode on a dell. I could be wrong so look for it when the pc boots up. Tell me if this works. i havent tried this in a while. |
