Fallen Empires: Legions

Anyone else seen this game? It's a full-on FPS that you can play in your browser window and has a movement model much like the old Tribes, in that you can easily fly around the map (and are encouraged to do so). I tried it out in the 15 minutes I had to spare this morning before I had to jump in the car and drive to work, and it was pretty damn spiffy.

My only complaint so far is that to set up your keybindings (the default is the WASD setup, which I've never used and generally despise) you have to start and join a game, and then hit escape and change the settings in there. They should have those options available outside the game, but it is a free to play beta, and these things can be fixed. But other than that, it ran really smoothly over my admittedly not-tweaked-for-gaming connection, and the graphics, while definitely not mindblowing, are detailed enough you can tell what's going on. Oh, another complaint is that most games going seemed to be capped off at 8 which, considering PC fps gaming has enjoyed far higher than that game caps for almost the last decade, seems to me to make the games rather small.

Anyway, it's in Open Beta right now, you can sign up for free and join or create games at will. Pretty effin' cool, if you're a twitch-monkey like me, you'll dig it. Make sure to familiarize yourself with the keybindings, especially the Activate Jumpjets one.
