Awesome! The clock appeared, I got excited. Then the DS logo appeared, and I got VERY excited (I got DS a few months ago).

Woo! Best RPG since Earthbound.

I really wish Nintendo would get their heads out of the sand and bring over Mother 3 now.

I am not excited at all.

I am sick of Square making half ass effort remakes. I've already played the original, and changing the plot will just ruin the game. That said, the easiest advantage a remake can have over the original would be processing power of the platform, I would be pleased if they made a full blown ps3 remake, instead of just the same ROM ported over to another system with extra in-game items.

Hell, I remember being wowed by Final Fantasy III's crazy 2D graphics. How about they wow us again with a 3D remake, not some crappy clone port.

I'm so glad I have a DS .

Edit: Countdown site says 3 days till the Japanese release .

Didnt they already release this on the Playstation to get all the cut scenes animated?

Most likley for the DS it will just have stupid stylis crap for combos or puzzles.

Im with DM.. I want an Earthbound sequel!

Mother 3 is out in Japan, for the GBA.

Unfortunately, the GBA's time in the US is passing quickly, and Nintendo for some reason doesn't listen to the uproar of the cult Earthbound's formed in the last decade, or from curious SSBB players.

Thankfully, a fansite is working on an English translation, for use with a legal copy and a memory cart.

Front Mission DS was a great port. The controls are very intuitive and everything has been brought over just fine. The new missions don't hurt either!
